Lead exposure monitoring & site investigations
Lead hazards remain relevant across many New Zealand workplaces — particularly construction, demolition, radiator repair, and battery recycling. Lead paint is also commonly found in pre-1980s residential and commercial buildings, presenting risks during renovation or demolition works.
Sampling is conducted by a MAIOH-qualified occupational hygienist using calibrated personal sampling pumps, validated cassettes, and AS/NZS 4361-aligned wipe protocols. Analytical work is processed through IANZ-accredited partner laboratories with chain of custody preserved end-to-end.
Services provided

When to request a lead assessment
Lead assessment is appropriate before pre-1980s renovation or demolition; in any workplace where lead-containing materials are cut, sanded, welded or recycled; for baseline exposure monitoring; or to validate post-decontamination clearance after a known release.
